Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilan Rotberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Kvelertak - Blodtørst. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ilan Rotberg! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rotberg to score an easy takedown into full guard. Daniels looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Daniels is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rotberg wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Rotberg prevents Daniels from getting back to his feet. Daniels manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Rotberg is working to get back to half guard.
Rotberg tries to hold on but Daniels postures up. Daniels working away from the top, dropping strikes.
It looks like Ilan Rotberg has been cut. Daniels landing shots from mount. BOOM! Daniels connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Rotberg is in all sorts of trouble here.
Daniels lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Rotberg wants to control but Daniels is having none of it. Daniels takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Daniels has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rotberg is trying desperately to improve position. Rotberg wants to hold on but Daniels pushes him away. Daniels postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rotberg looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Daniels avoids the attempt from Rotberg to control. Daniels sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rotberg working to try and regain half guard.
Daniels lands a big elbow. Daniels looking to control but Rotberg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rotberg wants to control but Daniels is having none of it. BOOM! Daniels connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Daniels tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rotberg takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Daniels takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rotberg wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That has opened up Ilan Rotberg's cut even more. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daniels looking to control but Rotberg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rotberg manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Daniels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ilan Rotberg's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Rotberg rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Daniels counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rotberg throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Daniels counter with a right hand.
The cut above Ilan Rotberg's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rotberg moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rotberg takes a kick to the side of the head. Daniels looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A slow jab from Rotberg misses its intended target. Rotberg throws an off balance right hand
and Rotberg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rotberg throws a poor cross that misses
and Daniels counters with an outside leg kick.
Daniels fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ilan Rotberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rotberg misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Daniels to counter with a crisp jab.
Ilan Rotberg's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Rotberg misses with a right hand and Daniels makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rotberg really felt that one! Rotberg misses with a kick to the body and Daniels counters with a nice body kick.
Rotberg is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rotberg throws an off balance right hand
and Daniels counters with a solid body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rotberg throws a combination that misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Daniels throws a nice looking combination but Rotberg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rotberg throws a predictable looking body shot
and Daniels counters with a straight right hand. Good leg kick by Daniels there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Daniels takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ilan Rotberg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jim Daniels!
