Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsuo Akiyama! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux misses with a head kick.
Dux throws a head kick that misses. Akiyama looks to land a body kick but Dux moved away. Dux shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Akiyama but Akiyama pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dux closes this distance looking for a takedown but Akiyama circles away.
Akiyama shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Akiyama is looking to advance position but Dux won't allow it. Akiyama scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Akiyama is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dux escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Akiyama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Akiyama trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dux trying to keep a closed guard but Akiyama is proving a slippery customer.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Akiyama moves in looking to clinch but Dux pushes him off. Dux misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Akiyama shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Akiyama was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dux wants to hold on but Akiyama pushes him away. Akiyama thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Akiyama goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dux is on top in guard.
Akiyama tries to land a sweep but no joy. Akiyama bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dux's guard. Akiyama wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving. Akiyama working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dux utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Akiyama trying to control but Dux is working from the bottom. Akiyama throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Akiyama wanted to stand there but Dux had control of the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Akiyama pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dux is keeping the position for now.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Akiyama wants the takedown. Dux is fighting it off but Akiyama persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dux's guard against the cage. Akiyama throws a big right hand that misses. Akiyama stands and throws Dux's legs to the side, diving into side control. Akiyama is looking to take a break and control but Dux is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Akiyama advances nicely into full mount. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Tetsuo Akiyama dominated that round. That's time! Dux's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Akiyama lands with a kick to the temple. Dux shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Akiyama blocks a head kick by Dux.
Akiyama closes the distance and clinches. Akiyama tries to land a knee to the head but Dux blocks with his arms.
Dux is trying to break free. The referee calls for Akiyama to work.

Akiyama escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Akiyama looks for the body kick but Dux saw that one coming.
Akiyama shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Akiyama was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Akiyama with good strikes from the mount here! Akiyama prevents Dux from getting the reversal.
Akiyama is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dux has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dux! Akiyama is trying to hold Dux in close to prevent damage but Dux has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Akiyama wants to improve his position but Dux is controlling well.
Akiyama wants to control but Dux is keeping busy and won't allow it. Akiyama makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Akiyama. Akiyama has a closed guard, preventing Dux from standing up. Akiyama keeping moving, preventing Dux from controlling successfully.  The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Whack! Dux lands a heavy head kick that drops Akiyama. The ref tackles Dux to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Akiyama was done.
