Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Risen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valera Zugin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesus Risen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Valera Zugin! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zugin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Risen did well to prevent Zugin getting side control. Risen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Risen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zugin defends it easily. Zugin trying to control the position from guard on top but Risen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Risen throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Risen wants to sweep here but Zugin controlling him for the moment. Risen has his foot on Zugin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zugin passes Risen's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zugin trying to pass the guard but Risen defending well. Zugin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Risen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zugin pulls his head out easily. Risen tries to roll over but Zugin keeps him under control. Zugin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Risen. Risen wants to get back to full guard. Zugin tries to stand but can't do so whilst Risen controls his leg. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Risen looking for submissions off his back. Risen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Risen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesus Risen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Zugin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Risen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Risen is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Zugin is tapping! Great win for Risen!
