Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casimiro Carioca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobral is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says. Carioca is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Casimiro Carioca could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Renato Sobral's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral misses with a takedown attempt
and Carioca cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carioca is breathing heavily.
Sobral fails with the takedown
and Carioca connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sobral doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Carioca counter with a right hand.
Casimiro Carioca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Sobral.
Sobral closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sobral lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
