The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dammon scores with a nice right hand.
Dammon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jensen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Jensen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

letting Dammon counter with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jensen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dammon is fending him off so far but Jensen persists. Nope, Dammon circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Jensen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dammon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jensen misses with a jab to the body
and Dammon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jensen thinking.
Jensen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Dammon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jensen.
Dammon cracks Jensen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jensen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dammon finish him?
Jensen misses with a lunging right hand
and Dammon counters with a huge left! Jensen is in big trouble! He's backing up but Dammon isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Jensen from any more damage. A dominating finish by Dammon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Dammon!
