The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods wants to clinch. Gailfus tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Woods counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Gailfus is trying to get back to full guard. Gailfus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Woods on the ground. Gailfus is working hard here to advance position. Woods is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gailfus! Woods looking to control but Gailfus is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gailfus can't escape the position.
Woods tries to control but Gailfus wriggling away. Woods working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gailfus tries to reverse the position but Woods maintains control. Woods wants to control the pace but Gailfus is squirming around nicely. Gailfus is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Woods is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gailfus is surviving well by controlling Woods's body position as best he can. Gailfus is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gailfus has left one of his arms exposed and Woods doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gailfus screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
