Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knox is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Something I Can Never Have. The key to victory for Max House has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mickey Knox! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as House throws out the jab. House throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knox stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A right-left combo lands from House.
It looks like Mickey Knox has been cut. House tries to clinch there but Knox circles away.
Knox feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Knox wants to control from the top but House keeps moving. House had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Knox defends it easily. Knox got a little sloppy there for a moment and House has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. House looking for submissions off his back. House looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. House looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Knox uses his free foot to push down on House's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for House. Knox trying to control but House is having none of it. Knox takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Knox trying to control but he's not successful this time. Knox is landing with some decent strikes but House is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. House flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

House closes the distance and pushes Knox back into the ropes. House is trying to break the clinch but Knox has him pressed against the ropes. House manages to break the clinch.
