Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Brickowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier comes to the cage accompanied by Mountain Song. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bittor Xavier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Brickowski! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brickowski throws a head kick that half lands.
Brickowski looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A head kick misses from Brickowski. Xavier shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brickowski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Brickowski looking for subs off his back but Xavier has passed one foot through into half guard.
Xavier is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brickowski defends it well. Xavier is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brickowski has managed to free his arm - good work. Xavier sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brickowski defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier wants to advance to full mount but Brickowski doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Brickowski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Brickowski wants to sweep but no luck. Xavier trying to control the position from guard on top but Brickowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Xavier drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brickowski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brickowski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brickowski! Xavier can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Xavier regains half guard. Xavier looking for submissions off his back. Brickowski decides to stand and escape the position. Brickowski tried to score with a low kick but Xavier checks it. Brickowski throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Marco Brickowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brickowski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Xavier. That kick from Brickowski tenderised Xavier's leg. Xavier is trying to keep his angry face on. Xavier takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Xavier throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marco Brickowski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brickowski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Brickowski shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Xavier misses with a body shot
and Brickowski counters with a nice leg kick. Brickowski tries a low kick but Xavier avoids it. Brickowski moves out of range of the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brickowski pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Brickowski lands a body shot.
Xavier is breathing heavily. Both fighters circling a little - Brickowski finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Xavier stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brickowski. Brickowski throws a nice inside leg kick. Brickowski scores with a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Xavier misses with a wild body shot. Brickowski tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Brickowski dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Good leg kick by Brickowski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Xavier fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brickowski manages to avoid it. Xavier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brickowski moves away. Marco Brickowski seems to be getting the better of the standup. Brickowski throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Xavier feints and as Brickowski raises his hands in defense, Xavier changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Brickowski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Xavier postures up in Brickowski's guard and throws a big left but Brickowski blocks it. Brickowski looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Xavier thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brickowski wants to stand but Xavier is controlling the position. Xavier will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Xavier trying to control the position from guard on top but Brickowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Xavier passes into half guard. Xavier is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brickowski has managed to free his arm - good work. Brickowski wants to control but Xavier is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brickowski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Xavier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brickowski is just riding it out for now. Xavier eventually gives up the hold. Xavier is working for a submission of some sort.
Xavier missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Brickowski won't allow Xavier to pass to mount. Brickowski is looking for a sweep. Xavier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Xavier throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Brickowski looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xavier is looking for a kimura but Brickowski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Xavier to get the leverage. Brickowski actively working from the bottom here. Xavier is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brickowski sees it coming and defends easily. Brickowski trying to control but Xavier postures up.
Xavier looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Brickowski is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brickowski is looking to control Xavier's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brickowski avoid being mounted? Xavier is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Brickowski wants to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Xavier is looking for a kimura here.
Xavier throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bittor Xavier dominated that second round. That's time! Xavier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Brickowski scores with a head kick. Xavier tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Brickowski throws a head kick but Xavier moves out of range.

A nice inside leg kick there by Brickowski. That's going to slow Xavier down. Xavier is looking to wear down Brickowski with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Brickowski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Brickowski tries a head kick but it misses.
Brickowski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Xavier.
Brickowski finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Xavier rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brickowski counters with a good low kick that Xavier was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier throws a leg kick and Brickowski counters with a thumping low kick. Xavier misses the body punch and Brickowski counters with an inside leg kick. Xavier scores a takedown into full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brickowski tries to get back to half guard but can't. Xavier trying to control but he's not successful this time. Brickowski tries to lock up and control but Xavier gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Brickowski is desperately trying to improve his position but Xavier has a good base and remains in mount. Xavier looking to control but Brickowski is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brickowski wants to hold on but Xavier pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xavier scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Brickowski?
Xavier with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Brickowski tries to lock up and control but Xavier gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Brickowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Xavier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Xavier is working for a guillotine from mount but Brickowski frees his head quite easily.

Xavier wants to take a breather but Brickowski is having none of it. Brickowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Xavier is working away from the top position though. Brickowski is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Xavier jumps into side control! Brickowski is looking to regain half guard here but Xavier keeps moving and retains side control. Brickowski manages to get back to half guard. Brickowski trying to control from the bottom.
Xavier takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brickowski trying to control here.

Brickowski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Xavier. Xavier not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Xavier is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Xavier is trying to control. Brickowski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Marco Brickowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Brickowski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
