Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TrauMaa Iii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grande Mucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iii's entrance music is D12 - Fight Music. A fine choice. TrauMaa Iii has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, TrauMaa Iii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Grande Mucho!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mucho stuffs the takedown attempt from Iii. Iii gets slowly back to his feet.
Mucho throws a low kick but Iii avoids it.
Mucho fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Iii avoids it really well and circles away.
Iii throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mucho fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Iii is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mucho sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Iii with a lazy takedown attempt

and Mucho counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Iii!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TrauMaa Iii. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mucho controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Mucho might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Grande Mucho has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mucho throws a hook but Iii avoids it easily.
Mucho just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Iii is defended easily by Mucho.
Iii blocks a leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mucho misses with a low kick as Iii jumps back.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mucho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Iii fails with a takedown attempt.
Mucho shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Iii but Iii pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Iii dives in and grabs Mucho's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mucho pushes down on Iii's head and hops out.
Mucho shoots for a takedown but Iii saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Iii wants to clinch

and Mucho counters with a shoot takedown. Iii fights it but they end up in guard.
Mucho seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grande Mucho dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Mucho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Iii tries to avoid it but Mucho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Iii to the ground. Iii escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mucho takes a swing at Iii's ribcage but misses.
Mucho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Iii manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iii looks to clinch

and Mucho counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mucho sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Mucho won't allow Iii to get back to his feet.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mucho has eaten all the pies!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mucho is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mucho advances position into side control!
Mucho is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mucho tries to score with some ground and pound. Iii controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Mucho happy to just control the position for now.

Mucho is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Iii is trying to escape and Mucho transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Iii is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mucho! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Grande Mucho!
