The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selwoods misses with a takedown attempt
letting Santiago counter with a right hand.
Selwoods shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Santiago counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Selwoods is defended easily by Santiago.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Selwoods. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Selwoods walks into a jab.
Selwoods uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Santiago.
Santiago lands a lovely overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santiago swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Santiago cracks Selwoods with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Mark Selwoods has been cut.
Selwoods with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Santiago to score with a decent uppercut.

Selwoods gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Santiago gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
