El Tombo misses with a few strikes there.
Geez Up seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Up throws out a loose jab but El Tombo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Up works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

so El Tombo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

and El Tombo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Up displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as El Tombo throws out the jab.

El Tombo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Up's waist but Up gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing El Tombo off to one side.

Up throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

El Tombo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Geez Up is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

El Tombo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
El Tombo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Up's head.
Up wants to get back to full guard.
El Tombo winds up and cracks Up with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Up tries to kick El Tombo off but El Tombo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. El Tombo lands a nice short elbow.
Up has hold of El Tombo's hands but El Tombo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

El Tombo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Up!

Up takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
El Tombo is landing with some decent strikes but Up is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
El Tombo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The referee warns Up that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
El Tombo is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Up goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for El Tombo!
