Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deni Subasic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sledge Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Subasic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is American Dream. Sledge Hammer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Subasic as he jumps to the side.
Hammer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Subasic throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Subasic pinned against the cage. Subasic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sledge Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Subasic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Subasic looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Subasic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Subasic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Subasic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hammer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Subasic lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Subasic has an Americana. Hammer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Subasic is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Subasic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
