Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Lingad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lao Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lingad comes to the cage accompanied by Kinda Like a Big Deal - Clipse Ft. Kanye West. Jon Lingad has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Lingad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lao Kong!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong misses with a looping right.
Kong uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lingad has time to react.
Kong keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lingad has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lingad slips under a jab from Kong.
Lingad throws a leg kick but Kong moved away.
Lingad drops his hands momentarily and Kong takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lingad.
Kong on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lingad. Lingad obviously looking to wear him down.

Kong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kong showed some decent athleticism there.
Lingad works his way to full guard. Good work.
Lingad lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kong!

Lingad lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Lingad seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jon Lingad.
Lingad connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kong has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lingad.

Lingad thows a body kick. Kong tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Lingad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kong.
Lingad scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That kick from Lingad tenderised Kong's leg. Kong is trying to keep his angry face on.

Lingad drives through and clinches with Kong against the cage.

A short body shot lands from Lingad as the two fighters clinch.

Lingad has Kong pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lingad pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kong tumbling to the mat - Lingad dives into Kong's guard.

Kong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lingad defends well.
Lingad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kong throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lingad stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lao Kong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lingad dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kong. That did some damage!
