The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa J�rvil�inen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws out a leg kick but Smith moves out of range and King only half commits.
King on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
King tries to score with a low kick but Smith moves his leg out of the way.
Smith throws a left and a right that both miss
and King counters with an inside leg kick.
King throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

King swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and King counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
King fails in his attempt to clinch.
King dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on King's head and hops out.

King tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and King makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Smith uses good head movement to avoid the hook from King.

and King counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
King misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
King throws an elbow but Smith slips to the side and avoids it well.
King in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
King tries to score with some ground and pound. Smith controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
King looking to control but instead Smith has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

King scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
King lands with a shot to the body.
King shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
King tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.

King is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith misses with a hook
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A jab from King does it's job there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and King counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Smith's guard now.
Smith keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
King throwing strikes from guard but Smith blocks nicely.
Smith seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

King moves forwards but Smith connects with a nice, crisp jab.
King throws a big shot that misses.
King is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.

King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from King.
King misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith misses with a wild combination.
That kick from King tenderised Smith's leg. Smith is trying to keep his angry face on.

King throws a solid leg kick but Smith takes the impact on his shin and smiles at King.
King shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Smith is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.
Smith regains full guard. Nicely done.
Smith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Smith is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea.

King lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
King trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.
Smith tries to land a sweep but no joy.
King content to stall in guard here.
Smith wants to stand but King is controlling the position.

King is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jimmy King.
I think King has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
