Wright kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is On the Eve of War. The crowd seem to be enjoying Nieve's choice of entrance music: Do Ya Think Im sexy. Steve Nieve has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Adron Wright's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright just misses with a punch to the body.
Nieve misses with a head kick.
Nieve wants to clinch
and Wright counters with a nice uppercut.
Nieve misses with a combination
and Nieve takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nieve throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Wright to counter with a crisp jab.
Nieve walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jab, jab by Wright - just one landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nieve lands a leg kick that knocks Wright off balance momentarily.
Nieve tries to clinch up.
Wright throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nieve drops Wright with a beautiful combination! Wright stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nieve is looking for the KO!
It looks like Adron Wright has been cut.
Wright checks the leg kick.
Wright misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nieve.
Nieve tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wright misses with a right hand
and Nieve counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wright's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nieve under the eye.
Nieve turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nieve throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nieve throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nieve throws a body punch but Wright moves out of range.
Nieve lands a brutal head kick. Wright looks out on his feet and Nieve throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Steve Nieve!
