Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justina Vanovcan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanovcan has chosen Moskau as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Puska! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Justina Vanovcan! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puska lands with a straight right. Vanovcan didn't see that one coming. No joy there for Puska, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Puska misses with a right hand and Puska takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Puska waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vanovcan. Mike Puska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vanovcan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Puska counter with a right hand. A big right from Puska misses. Puska throws the left hand but Vanovcan avoids the punch easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vanovcan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Puska counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Vanovcan closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Puska to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puska misses with a straight right. Vanovcan takes one to the chin there. Vanovcan moves to clinch but Puska breaks away and Puska connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Vanovcan tries to clinch but Puska moves away and Puska counters with a stiff right hand. Vanovcan on the wrong end of a nice jab. Puska cracks Vanovcan with an open hand slap. Puska misses with a hook. Vanovcan closes the distance but Puska moves to the side and Puska counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vanovcan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Puska counters with a lovely straight right hand! Vanovcan with a poor takedown and Puska counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mike Puska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justina Vanovcan. Puska throws a right hand that misses
and Vanovcan counters with a nice double leg into guard. Vanovcan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Puska scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Vanovcan tries to clinch letting Puska counter with a right hand. Vanovcan has his takedown stuffed and Puska connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vanovcan moves out of range of the strikes. Puska swings widly with a right hand
and Vanovcan counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Puska missing with a left hand there. Vanovcan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Puska throws a jab but it's blocked by Vanovcan. Puska throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Puska is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Vanovcan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Puska throws out the jab. Puska is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Vanovcan slips under a jab. Puska misses with a looping left. Puska cracks Vanovcan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vanovcan fails with the takedown and Puska counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Puska throws a right and a left that both miss. Vanovcan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Vanovcan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Puska looks to land a left hand but Vanovcan moved out of range nicely. Vanovcan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Puska counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Puska lands a lovely overhand right. Puska swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Vanovcan misses with a takedown attempt and Vanovcan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fighters circling - Puska throws out the jab but it was never going to land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Puska dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Vanovcan has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Nice jab there from Puska. Vanovcan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Puska counters with a lovely straight right hand! A left lands for Puska. Puska misses with a hook. Vanovcan ducked under it nicely. Vanovcan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Puska manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A lazy left from Puska finds it's target. Puska throws a hook but Vanovcan blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puska throws a jab but it's blocked by Vanovcan. Vanovcan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Puska. Puska misses the jab. Vanovcan tries to clinch and Puska counters with a left and a right that stings Vanovcan. Vanovcan wants to clinch and Puska counters with a left and a right that stings Vanovcan. A big left from Puska misses. Puska dips to his left and cracks Vanovcan with an uppercut! Vanovcan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Justina Vanovcan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Puska pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vanovcan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A jab from Puska misses. Puska misses with a left hand and Vanovcan counters with a single leg into guard. Puska didn't expect that. Vanovcan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Puska looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Puska looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Puska! Puska has an Americana. Vanovcan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Puska is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Puska hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
