Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dos Santos has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Santos throws a one two combo.
dos Santos looks gassed!
dos Santos moves forwards but Silva connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Junior dos Santos has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! dos Santos crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silva - the referee stops the clock and dos Santos gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silva. dos Santos manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva feints a jab and as dos Santos dips his head, Silva unleashes a brutal head kick that catches dos Santos right on the jaw! Timbeeer! dos Santos falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Silva smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Thiago Silva!
