Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Mengoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mengoff avoids the head kick by Silva.
Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mengoff looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mengoff tries to control but Silva wriggling away.
Mengoff is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Silva is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Silva flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mengoff anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Silva and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mengoff slips an arm under Silva chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mengoff has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mengoff is squeezing on Silva like an anaconda would it's prey. Silva fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
