Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Worthington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kardel Sharpeye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Worthington's entrance music is Song 2 by Blur. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpeye tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sharpeye avoids the head kick by Worthington.
Steven Worthington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharpeye throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sharpeye closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Worthington is trying to control Sharpeye's posture but Sharpeye avoids it.
Sharpeye thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Worthington knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sharpeye on the ground.
Sharpeye tries to move into full mount but can't pass Worthington's legs.

Sharpeye wants to control but Worthington is keeping him busy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Sharpeye tries to control but Worthington wriggling away.
Sharpeye looking for a guillotine from mount but Worthington is having none of it.
Worthington is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Sharpeye is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Worthington is forced to tap! Great finish!
