Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Rudolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kody Mock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mock's choice of entrance music: Im on a Boat. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gordon Rudolph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kody Mock! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rudolph closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rudolph just stands there and leans against the cage. Mock drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rudolph gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mock prevents the takedown attempt.
Rudolph has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mock avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Rudolph misses with a short punch on the inside. Mock prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Rudolph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rudolph misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mock.
Rudolph wants to get back to striking at distance but Mock won't allow it.

Rudolph really is a fat lump. Mock has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rudolph clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Rudolph breaks Mock's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Mock looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rudolph puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Rudolph is tying to control. Mock wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mock tries to get to full guard but Rudolph has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rudolph controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rudolph trying to control the action but Mock is working from the bottom. Mock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rudolph is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mock is refusing to be controlled, as Rudolph sits in half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rudolph moves in looking to clinch but Mock pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rudolph shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mock as he jumps to the side. Rudolph is looking to clinch. Mock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rudolph as he avoids it easily. Rudolph misses with a takedown and Mock decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rudolph's guard. Rudolph is breathing heavily. Rudolph keeping moving, preventing Mock from controlling successfully. Rudolph trying to keep a closed guard but Mock is proving a slippery customer.
Mock wants to control from the top but Rudolph keeps moving. Mock looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rudolph is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mock sitting in guard here, content to control. Rudolph might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mock postures up and lands a big shot to Rudolph's brow. Mock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rudolph. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mock not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rudolph is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mock prevents Rudolph from getting back to his feet. Mock sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mock works over Rudolph with some ground and pound from guard. Mock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mock looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kody Mock dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mock darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rudolph makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rudolph. Rudolph trying to control the position.
Rudolph is looking for a triangle here but Mock uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Mock creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Rudolph is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rudolph takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Oh Rudolph is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mock tries for a kimura but Rudolph is defending well. Rudolph taking punishment in the form of punches.
Mock working the head with strikes. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Mock stands up and beckons Rudolph to his feet. Mock shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Rudolph is on queer street and Mock is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Kody Mock!
