With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Macaw!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phil Macaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macaw's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sear connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Macaw scrambles back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Macaw feints and then cracks Sear's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sear down.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vin Sear.
Well Sear has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
