Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Chokespear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Incubus- Drive as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, William Chokespear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Jones! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Chokespear to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chokespear is controlling him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Chokespear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Chokespear stops Jones from standing up. Jones is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Chokespear throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chokespear stops Jones from standing up. Chokespear trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Chokespear is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Chokespear trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chokespear shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Chokespear on that attempt. Chokespear misses with a takedown attempt and Jones counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Chokespear. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones tries to bum rush Chokespear with a series of wild strikes but Chokespear uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Chokespear avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chokespear changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Chokespear manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chokespear shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Chokespear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chokespear is breathing heavily. Chokespear drops his hands for a split second and Jones immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Chokespear face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Jones follows up with a right hand that knocks Chokespear into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
