Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hitmon Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Johnson! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnson swings widly with a right hand
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Johnson misses with a lunging right hand
and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Johnson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Johnson cracks Lee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Lee working to try and regain half guard.
Lee tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away. Johnson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lee has worked his arm free - good work by Lee!
Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it. Lee sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Johnson wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Johnson working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Lee's thigh. Lee counters though and makes it back to full guard. Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Johnson working for a triangle but Lee defends it easily.
Johnson looks gassed! Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lee gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Johnson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a left and a right that stings Johnson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lee shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but Lee finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lee sitting and controlling from the half guard. Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lee is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hitmon Lee wasn't doing enough on the ground. Lee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lee is in Johnson's guard. Lee wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lee controls the pace of the fight for a moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hitmon Lee dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lee cracks Johnson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Johnson misses with a left hand and Lee counters with a left and a right that stings Johnson. Lee lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Lee jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Johnson is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Johnson is looking to close the distance but Lee sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Johnson crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Johnson is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
