The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tepez lands with a shot to the body.
Sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Tepez counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tepez won't allow Sanchez to sweep him here.
Tepez looking to sit in guard and control but Sanchez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Tepez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tepez holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tepez dives on top into guard.
Sanchez wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Tepez is now in half guard.

Tepez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Sanchez tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tepez has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Tepez sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
