Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Corncrab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corncrab's entrance music is TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me. A fine choice. Stanley Corncrab has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stanley Corncrab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Rock! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corncrab shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rock as he avoids it easily. Corncrab shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Corncrab decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Rock darts in and clinches Corncrab up against the cage. Corncrab effectively controlling the action here. Corncrab avoids the elbow strike from Rock, against the cage.
Rock looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rock tries to break free but Corncrab pushes him back against the cage. Corncrab decides to pull guard. Rock wants to control from the top but Corncrab keeps moving. Corncrab is pulling down on Rock's head. It's preventing any offense from Rock, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock throws a strike but Corncrab rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Corncrab is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rock wants to stand but Corncrab is controlling the position. Rock is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rock looking to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rock gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Corncrab counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rock can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Corncrab controls the pace. Corncrab passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corncrab is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rock has escaped the position, nice work there. Rock throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Corncrab wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rock keeps working. Corncrab staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Corncrab is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rock has escaped the position, nice work there. Corncrab tries for a kimura but Rock is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanley Corncrab dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Corncrab will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stanley Corncrab is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rock scores a takedown into full mount! Corncrab avoids a series of strikes thrown by Rock.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Corncrab slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Rock throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rock thows a huge punch but Corncrab dodges it nicely.
Rock throws a strike but Corncrab avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rock throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Corncrab looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock throwing strikes but missing. Rock trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Corncrab lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rock! Corncrab controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Corncrab is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rock has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rock tries to hold on but Corncrab postures up. Corncrab sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rock is squirming around, avoiding Corncrab's attempts to control the action. Stanley Corncrab overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rock has given up his back.
Corncrab has good solid back control here. Corncrab is looking to control Rock but Rock is wriggling around and keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanley Corncrab dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Rock as Corncrab shoots in. Rock throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Corncrab counters with a takedown into side control. Corncrab trying to control the action but Rock is working from the bottom. Corncrab controls the position from side control. Corncrab working the ground and pound but Rock is defending the strikes. Corncrab will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corncrab wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rock keeps working. Rock manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rock throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rock is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Corncrab gets full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Corncrab is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corncrab pulls Rock in close to his closed guard and prevents Rock from doing any damage or advancing position. Rock in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rock trying to control the position from guard on top but Corncrab is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Corncrab seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rock misses the body punch and Corncrab counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Corncrab prevents Rock from improving his position. Rock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rock kicks off Corncrab and gets to his feet. Corncrab fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rock tries for a takedown but Corncrab circles away easily and Corncrab counters with a single leg into guard. Rock didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corncrab passes easily into side control. Nice work. Corncrab taking a breather here. Tommy Rock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rock tries to buck Corncrab off but Corncrab is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Corncrab looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rock is trying to escape the position but Corncrab is controlling the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Corncrab wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rock, who protects the arm well.
And that's the end of the fight! Stanley Corncrab showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Corncrab, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
