Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johny Pudzian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shami Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudzian's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Toony - Los (Feat. Pih & Fabuła). Medina has chosen man on fire as his entrance music. The key to victory for Johny Pudzian has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, shami Medina!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Pudzian forces Medina back against the cage and clinches.

Medina gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Medina content to control rather than advance.
Pudzian trying to get back to full guard but Medina takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Pudzian tries to reverse the position but Medina maintains control.
Pudzian is trying to reverse the position but instead Medina has taken his back - oops!
Medina is not going to allow Pudzian to sit and survive in this position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Medina is on top in guard.

Medina avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Both fighters circling a little - Medina finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Medina has a takedown stuffed.
Pudzian darts in trying to clinch

and Medina holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pudzian pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Medina looking to stall.
A frustrated look appears on Medina's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pudzian is looking to control Medina's arms but Medina gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pudzian has his back to the cage.
Pudzian lands an elbow just above Medina 's eye.
Pudzian jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Medina walks away with a smile on his face. Pudzian gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pudzian scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Pudzian tries to pass to full mount but Medina defends it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Medina kicks off Pudzian and gets to his feet.

Medina moves into the clinch.
Pudzian working hard to break the clinch.
Medina wants a takedown but no success here.

Medina's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Medina closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pudzian quickly recovers to half guard.

Medina tries to pull guard but Pudzian holds him up against the cage and eventually Medina drops back down to his feet.
Johny Pudzian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of shami Medina.

Pudzian is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Pudzian is looking for a sweep. Medina is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Medina works his way into side control.
Pudzian tries to buck Medina off but Medina is having none of it.

Medina is working to tighten is grip on Pudzian's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pudzian has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Medina is really squeezing tight and eventually Pudzian passes out! Medina breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
