Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Darude - Sandstorm . Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker tries a head kick but it misses.
Walker looks for a takedown but Turner sprawls well. Walker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walker working away. Walker decides to stand up, so the ref orders Turner to his feet. Turner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker feints and as Turner raises his hands in defense, Walker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Walker showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Turner keeping full guard, as Walker tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker won't allow Turner to get back to his feet. Walker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Turner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Walker throws a big right hand that misses. Walker passes Turner's left leg - he's now in half guard. Walker wants to control but Turner is keeping him busy. Walker tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Turner. Turner is trying to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Turner is defending against the submission attempts here by Walker.

Walker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Turner's head. Walker wants to stand but Turner has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Walker is looking to stall here but Turner recovers full guard. Walker is looking to work some ground and pound but Turner has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to pass the guard but Turner is keeping the position. Walker passes into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Walker lands a nice short elbow. Turner controlling the position for now. Turner is defending against the submission attempts here by Walker.
Walker is keen to just control but Turner is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Walker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Walker trying to control the pace. Walker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Turner is trying to stand back up but Walker is controlling him
Turner is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard. Walker stands up out of the half guard. Walker moves to clinch but Turner breaks away and Turner counters with an outside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derek Walker dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Turner circles away from the clinch attempt and Turner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Walker closes the distance looking to clinch and Turner counters with a nice uppercut. Walker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Turner pinned against the cage. Turner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Turner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Walker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turner tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turner to the ground. Turner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turner stalks Walker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Walker's face. Walker staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Walker shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walker shoots in but Turner avoids the takedown attempt easily. Walker avoids the head kick by Turner.
Jab by Turner. Turner throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Walker wants to clinch up but Turner keeps it at a distance. Walker throws a leg kick and Turner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Turner throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Walker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away. Turner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Turner.
Turner throws a combination that misses and Walker makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Turner really felt that one! Walker shoots in looking for a takedown but Turner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Turner throws a head kick that misses. A head kick by Walker misses and Turner counters with a nice leg kick. Nice shot lands for Turner. Ike Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Turner getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A head kick by Walker misses and Turner counters with a left to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turner throws a head kick that half lands.

Derek Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Walker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Turner throws a head kick that misses. Walker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Turner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Turner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A lazy body kick from Walker letting Turner counter with a right hand. Turner lands a head kick. Walker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Walker is rocked! Turner circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Walker to the canvas! Walker doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Turner keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
