Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Blyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maukka Peusjaetkae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blyer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eye Of The Tiger. Maukka Peusjaetkae has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rocky Blyer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Rocky Blyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maukka Peusjaetkae! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peusjaetkae manages to avoid it. Blyer throws a right and a left that Peusjaetkae avoids nicely. Blyer cracks Peusjaetkae with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Peusjaetkae takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Peusjaetkae defending well as Blyer loads up on a big left hand. Peusjaetkae moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Peusjaetkae looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Peusjaetkae sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Blyer defending well though. Peusjaetkae throws a strike but Blyer avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Blyer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Blyer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peusjaetkae on the ground. Peusjaetkae working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Peusjaetkae would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peusjaetkae thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Peusjaetkae throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Blyer is wriggling around but Peusjaetkae manages to pass to half guard.
Peusjaetkae stops Blyer from getting back to his feet.
Peusjaetkae frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Peusjaetkae throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
You get the feeling that Blyer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Peusjaetkae can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blyer is looking to escape. Peusjaetkae thowing shots but they're missing. Blyer avoids a series of strikes thrown by Peusjaetkae.
Poor strikes thrown by Peusjaetkae there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Peusjaetkae lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Blyer hang on? Blyer is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Peusjaetkae. Peusjaetkae controlling the pace for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Peusjaetkae working the ground and pound effectively.
Blyer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blyer tries to get out of the position. Peusjaetkae scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Blyer?
The referee warns Blyer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Peusjaetkae throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Peusjaetkae throwing strikes here but Blyer is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blyer is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Peusjaetkae thowing shots but they're missing. Blyer is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Peusjaetkae jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Blyer manages to avoid the submission attempt. Peusjaetkae has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Blyer is trying to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peusjaetkae fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Peusjaetkae is looking to take a break and control but Blyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peusjaetkae throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maukka Peusjaetkae dominated that round. That's time! Blyer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peusjaetkae. Blyer does a little dance to reset his feet. Blyer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Blyer stuffs the takedown attempt from Peusjaetkae. Peusjaetkae gets slowly back to his feet. Blyer scores with a one two! Peusjaetkae had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Peusjaetkae shoots in for a takedown but Blyer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Blyer leaves Peusjaetkae with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rocky Blyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maukka Peusjaetkae. Peusjaetkae takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blyer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Peusjaetkae slips under a jab. Peusjaetkae shoots in for a takedown but Blyer shows good takedown defense. BOOM! Blyer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Peusjaetkae. Peusjaetkae tries to recover but Blyer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Peusjaetkae lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Blyer!
