Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Broph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Like to Move It. Craig Broph has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Broph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Takeru Kyle! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyle is looking to clinch but Broph is avoiding it.
Kyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Broph was well out of range. Poor timing from Kyle. Craig Broph seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Broph misses the body punch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Kyle. That's going to slow Broph down. Broph misses with a shot to the body and Kyle counters with a solid body kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Kyle. Broph does a little dance to reset his feet. Broph throws a body punch but Kyle moves out of range. Kyle dodges the punch combination from Broph.
Broph gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Broph misses with an uppercut
and Kyle counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Broph throws a poor cross that misses
and Kyle makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Broph slips a jab from Kyle. Broph throws a right hand that misses
and Kyle counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kyle. Broph jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kyle walks away with a smile on his face. Broph gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kyle misses with a low kick.
Broph misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kyle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A slapping leg kick lands for Kyle.
Broph throws a poor cross that misses
and Kyle counters with a nice low kick that buckles Broph's knee momentarily. Kyle throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Craig Broph has been cut. Kyle takes the fight into the clinch. Kyle has a couple of punches blocked by Broph.
Kyle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Broph prevents a body shot from Kyle. Kyle lands a nice uppercut. Broph fails to pull guard.
Kyle can't find room to land a body shot as Broph controls the action.
A short left from Kyle. Kyle throws a punch but it's blocked by Broph. Broph tries to pull guard but Kyle holds him up against the cage and eventually Broph drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Broph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Broph jumps guard but Kyle stands there with Broph around his waist. Broph gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kyle is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Broph can't fight it off and eventually Kyle manages to take the fight to the floor. Broph looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Broph keeping full guard, as Kyle tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Broph lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kyle! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kyle is wriggling around trying to escape.
Broph swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kyle is now in Broph's guard. A big mistake from Broph there, giving up the dominant position! Kyle tries to free his leg and advance position but Broph is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kyle passes easily into side control. Nice work. Broph wants to control but Kyle postures up. Broph avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kyle. Kyle working the ground and pound. Kyle swings around for an armbar but Broph sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kyle's guard. Broph drops back looking for a leg! Kyle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kyle manages to kick Broph off! Broph jumps back into Kyle's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kyle is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kyle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Broph is keeping the position for now. Kyle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Broph looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kyle is one step ahead there. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kyle tries to free his leg and advance position but Broph is retaining full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kyle throws and elbow that misses. Broph uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kyle's guard. Nice move by Broph! Kyle had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Broph defends it easily. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeru Kyle dominated that round. The cut man is working on Craig Broph's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kyle lets loose with a powerful body kick. Broph will feel that in the morning. Broph lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kyle backs up against the cage.
Broph misses with the combination.
Broph moves out of range as Kyle throws a body kick.
Kyle slips a straight right by Broph. Broph waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kyle. Kyle finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kyle keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Broph. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kyle.
A low kick from Kyle misses and Broph counters with a single leg into guard. Kyle didn't expect that. Kyle looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Broph passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Broph is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kyle has escaped the position, nice work there. Kyle manages to get back to half guard. Broph works his foot free and advances to mount. Kyle swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Kyle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Broph throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kyle is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kyle is trying to reverse the position but instead Broph has taken his back - oops! Broph wants to control but Kyle is keeping busy. Kyle turns into Broph and is now in his guard.
Kyle is in close to Broph's body, working some short punches and elbows. Broph is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Broph is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyle defends it well. Kyle wants to improve his position but Broph is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broph is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kyle throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Kyle has hold of Broph's hands but Broph slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Broph is trying to control. Kyle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Broph wants to free his trapped foot but Kyle is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are battling for position here. Kyle manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Broph wants to control from the top but Kyle keeps moving. Kyle pushes a forearm under Broph's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Broph is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
