The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov darts in trying to clinch
and Zero counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kharitonov tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Zero counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kharitonov tries to clinch there but Zero circles away.
Kharitonov tries to close the distance and clinch but Zero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kharitonov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kharitonov lands in his opponent's guard.

Zero is trying to control the position but Kharitonov postures up.
Kharitonov wanted to stand there but Zero had control of the position.
Zero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kharitonov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Zero is tightening it up a little... Kharitonov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kharitonov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kharitonov taps out! nice BJJ there by Zero!
