Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sung Lun Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schwartz has chosen Baby Got Back as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Rob Schwartz enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sung Lun Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rob Schwartz! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwartz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Lun Chan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Schwartz pulls Lun Chan into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwartz is looking for a triangle but Lun Chan pushes his legs off easily.
Schwartz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lun Chan defends it easily. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Schwartz holds on and takes a little breather. Schwartz wriggles free and stands up. Schwartz shoots in and bounces Lun Chan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Schwartz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwartz is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Schwartz is working Lun Chan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lun Chan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schwartz controls the pace. Schwartz passes Lun Chan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Schwartz is controlling the pace.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Schwartz in particular looking to stall. Schwartz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lun Chan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schwartz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rob Schwartz was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lun Chan checks the leg kick. Schwartz shoots in but Lun Chan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schwartz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lun Chan leaves Schwartz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Schwartz tries a head kick but it misses.
Lun Chan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Schwartz to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lun Chan looking for a sweep. Not yet Lun Chan, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Schwartz dominated that round. That's time! Lun Chan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Schwartz throws a leg kick but Lun Chan checks it. Schwartz shoots in but Lun Chan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schwartz wants to clinch. Lun Chan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Schwartz scores with a three punch combo!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schwartz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Schwartz thows a huge punch but Lun Chan dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lun Chan is not content to let Schwartz control the position. Schwartz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Schwartz thows a huge punch but Lun Chan dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lun Chan is looking to escape. Schwartz seems to be working for a kimura but Lun Chan defends the submission attempt. Schwartz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwartz stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lun Chan to get to his feet. Schwartz moves into the clinch. Schwartz's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Schwartz gets control of Lun Chan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Schwartz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwartz manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Schwartz tries to land a front kick but Lun Chan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Schwartz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lun Chan was covering up waiting for the punch and Schwartz finishes the takedown easily into guard. Schwartz throwing strikes from guard but Lun Chan blocks nicely. Schwartz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lun Chan, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Schwartz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Schwartz throws a wild body kick that Lun Chan sees coming a mile off. Schwartz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lun Chan's guard. Lun Chan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Schwartz postures up in Lun Chan's guard and throws a big left but Lun Chan blocks it. Schwartz controlling from the top position. Let's hope that Schwartz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rob Schwartz wasn't active enough on the ground. Schwartz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lun Chan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Schwartz content to stall in guard here. Schwartz with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwartz stays in close to Lun Chan's body and controls the position.

Sung Lun Chan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Schwartz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lun Chan napping and manages to drive through into side control! Schwartz in side control, throwing shots but Lun Chan defends. Lun Chan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Schwartz connects with a decent elbow. Lun Chan taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwartz moves into full mount! Schwartz looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Schwartz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sung Lun Chan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rob Schwartz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lun Chan taking shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Schwartz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Schwartz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
