Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sthawy Sthowp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsunori Kikuno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sthowp comes to the cage accompanied by Blind Guardian - Into the Storn. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sthowp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kikuno.

Katsunori Kikuno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sthowp. Kikuno does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kikuno throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sthowp counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kikuno thinking.

Sthowp closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sthowp wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kikuno, who protects the arm well.

Kikuno is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sthowp asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kikuno is looking to get back to his feet here but Sthowp is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kikuno's back.

Sthowp is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kikuno has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sthowp has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kikuno taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sthowp doesn't care though - he's delighted!
