Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arnold Bosley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rey Salac!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salac throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Arnold Bosley has been cut.
Salac misses with an attempted mid kick.

Salac drops Bosley with a beautiful combination! Bosley stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Salac is looking for the KO!


Bosley is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bosley slips under a jab.
Bosley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salac but Salac pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salac is looking to slow Bosley down with leg kicks.
Bosley is breathing heavily.
Salac shoots in looking for a takedown but Bosley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salac's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Salac doesn't manage to clinch there - Bosley circles away.
Bosley could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Salac throws a right and a left that Bosley avoids nicely.
Salac misses with the combination.

Salac feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bosley sprawling to the canvas! Bosley rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Salac finish him?!
Oh Bosley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Arnold Bosley's cut is getting worse.
A head kick misses from Salac.
Bosley seems to have got his legs back now.
Rey Salac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salac is looking to clinch but Bosley is avoiding it.
Salac shoots in for a takedown but Bosley shows good takedown defense.
Salac throws a series of punches but Bosley avoids them all with ease.

Bosley tries to keep at a distance but Salac has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Salac jumps into guard, dragging Bosley to the mat.
Salac not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Salac throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Bosley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Salac dives on top into guard.
Salac would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Salac trying to control the position from guard on top but Bosley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salac wants to stand but Bosley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bosley keeping moving, preventing Salac from controlling successfully.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Salac stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bosley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rey Salac hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Salac closes the distance but Bosley moves to the side
and Bosley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Salac wants to clinch but Bosley slips to the side

Bosley misses with an elbow over the top.
Salac has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bosley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Arnold Bosley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rey Salac.
Bosley landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Salac looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bosley throws a knee to the head but misses.

Bosley breaks from the clinch.
Salac takes a swing at Bosley's ribcage but misses.
Salac throws a leg kick

and Bosley counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Salac breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Salac finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Salac throws a head kick that misses
and Bosley counters with a nice uppercut.
Bosley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Salac lands a big head kick that sends Bosley tumbling to the mat! Salac takes a step backwards and waves Bosley back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Arnold Bosley's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arnold Bosley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rey Salac!
