Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Kreegans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jared Kreegans is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jared Kreegans! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kreegans swinging wildly here.
A punch combination from Taylor misses. Kreegans looks to land a combination. Taylor sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A punch combination from Taylor misses. Kreegans lands a slapping body shot.
Taylor thuds a left hand into Kreegans's body. Taylor throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Kreegans to counter with a crisp jab. Kreegans fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Danga de danga de dang - Taylor scores with a four punch combination! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kreegans clinches up against the ropes. A body shot lands from Taylor.
Still in the clinch, Kreegans scores with a nice short uppercut. Taylor is trying to maintain a safe position but Kreegans gets an underhook and turns Taylor into the ropes. Taylor wants to get back to striking at distance but Kreegans won't allow it.
Kreegans tries to score a body lock takedown but Taylor shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Taylor prevents the takedown attempt.

Hank Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Kreegans. Taylor is trying to force a seperation but Kreegans has the dominant position. Taylor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Taylor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Taylor throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kreegans sees it coming and avoids it easily. Taylor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kreegans. Taylor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kreegans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taylor won't be happy with that. Kreegans tries to score with some ground and pound. Taylor controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Kreegans trying to control the action but Taylor is working from the bottom. Kreegans connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Taylor some visible discomfort.
Taylor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Taylor tries to get out of the position. Kreegans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Taylor keeps working. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kreegans postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Taylor is not content to let Kreegans control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreegans stands up and beckons Taylor to his feet. Kreegans works Taylor's body with a nice hook. Taylor is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Taylor throws a series of punches but Kreegans moves out of range. Taylor misses with a combination
and Kreegans counters with a three punch combo that has Taylor backing up. Taylor nods at Kreegans to acknowledge the strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kreegans lands with a cross. Kreegans works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kreegans rushes Taylor and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Taylor trying to control the position but instead, Kreegans has worked for underhooks and has pushed Taylor into the ropes. Kreegans is trying to break the clinch but Taylor has him pressed against the ropes. Taylor has had enough of the clinch but Kreegans keeps him there for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreegans wants a takedown but no success here.

Kreegans displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Taylor throws out the jab. A combination from Taylor does no damage. Taylor moves out of range as Kreegans throws a body kick.
Kreegans fails in his attempt to clinch. Hank Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kreegans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kreegans misses with a wild combination.

A swing and a miss from Taylor. Kreegans ducks under a wild hook from Taylor. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kreegans. Taylor shrugs it off though. Kreegans misses with a series of wild punches.
Kreegans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Taylor!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kreegans putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Taylor is in a horrible position here. Kreegans smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Kreegans landing strikes from the mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kreegans pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kreegans raining down hammerfists from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jared Kreegans dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Taylor works over Kreegans's head and body with a nice combination. Kreegans works the jab nicely. Kreegans gets a takedown into half guard. Kreegans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Taylor's head. Kreegans drops an elbow to the side of Taylor's head. Taylor wants to control but Kreegans is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kreegans not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kreegans lands with a punch from half guard. Kreegans scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Taylor blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kreegans. Kreegans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kreegans thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kreegans sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Taylor defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kreegans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Taylor's head. Kreegans passes to full mount! Kreegans lands a nice shot to the head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kreegans landing strikes from the mount and Taylor is in trouble! Taylor is working to get back to half guard.
Kreegans has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kreegans with a couple of short strikes.
It looks like Hank Taylor has been cut. Kreegans postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Taylor badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kreegans around the waist but Kreegans pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kreegans is the winner by TKO! Kreegans jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
