Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niko Medica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Maia works to advance to full mount. Medica defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Maia avoids the attempt from Medica to control.
Maia is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Medica is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Medica flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Maia anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Medica and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Maia slips an arm under Medica chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Maia has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Maia is squeezing on Medica like an anaconda would it's prey. Medica fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
