Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Line (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Line comes to the cage accompanied by Human Cannonball. Adam Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Jones!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Line counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Line jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones walks into a straight right hand from Line.
Line swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Line is defended easily by Jones.
Line fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Line misses with a body punch
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones cracks a nice hook into Line's ribs.
Line throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.

Line throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones throws an off balance right hand

and Line counters with a takedown into side control.
Line looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jones is avoiding damage well.

Line looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Line creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Line in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Line wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Peter Line.

Line throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Line counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Line ducks down to avoid it.
Line scores with a hook.

Jones ducks straight into an uppercut from Line and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Jones manages to regain guard straight away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Line chips away with some ground and pound.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Line stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Line has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
