Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Haye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Luger!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haye throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Luger.
Haye misses with a lunging right hand
and Haye takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Haye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Luger circles away quickly and effectively.
Haye throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Luger to counter with a crisp jab.
Haye misses with a wild body shot.
The fighters circling - Haye throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Haye misses with a right hand
letting Luger counter with a right hand.
Haye misses with a few strikes there.
Luger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Luger there as he acknowledges the shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Haye. Luger does a little dance to reset his feet.
Luger misses with a straight left.
Luger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Haye misses with a hook. Luger ducked under it nicely.
Haye misses with a two punch combination.
Haye tries to move into range but Luger moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Arnold Haye has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Luger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Haye.
Haye feints a jab promting Luger to slip. Haye then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Luger slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Shane Luger has been cut.
Haye misses with the combination.

A jab lands there for Luger.

and Luger moves into the clinch.
Luger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Haye swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Haye looks to throw the jab but Luger is out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Luger.
Haye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Luger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Haye is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Haye looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Luger stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Luger stops a takedown attempt from Haye.
Luger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Luger moves into range and clinches up with Haye.
Haye tries for a takedown. No joy.
Luger breaks the clinch.
Luger lands a jab to Haye's midsection.
Luger scores with a hook to the body. Haye takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Luger scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Haye doesn't seem bothered though.

Luger jabs Haye right on the nose. Haye blinks but takes it well.
Haye is rocked!
BOOM! Luger lands a beautiful left hook that drops Haye. Haye tries to recover but Luger is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Haye lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Luger!
