Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hong Choii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzo Hasashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanzo Hasashi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hong Choii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanzo Hasashi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasashi moves to clinch but Choii breaks away letting Choii counter with a right hand. Choii has taken the fight to the clinch.
Choii tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hasashi just stands there and leans against the cage. Hasashi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Hasashi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Choii has him pressed against the cage. Choii has Hasashi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hasashi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hasashi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hasashi connects with a high kick.
It looks like Hong Choii has been cut. Hasashi has his takedown stuffed and Choii counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hasashi wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Choii manages to pass to side control. Choii content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hasashi looking for a kimura from the bottom but Choii passes into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Choii decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hasashi to his feet. Hasashi throws a right hand that misses

Hasashi throws a head kick that misses and Choii counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Choii. Choii thows a big elbow that misses. Choii has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Choii won't allow Hasashi to get back to his feet. Choii slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasashi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hasashi has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Choii has passed into side control.
Hasashi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hasashi wants to get back to his feet. Choii is taking a breather. Hasashi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hasashi has a hand on Choii's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Choii takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Choii controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hong Choii dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hong Choii's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hasashi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Choii counters with a good, hard body kick but Hasashi shrugs it off. Hasashi shoots and misses and Choii counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hasashi tries to clinch and Choii counters with a single leg into guard. Hasashi didn't expect that. Hasashi is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Choii rolls with it to try and escape but Hasashi cranks on the arm and Choii is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hanzo Hasashi!
