Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doran Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connell has chosen Rob Kelly - Rockstar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Doran Connell struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Great swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Connell is now in Great's guard. A big mistake from Great there, giving up the dominant position!

Connell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Great has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Connell has managed to get both his arms back between Great's legs - danger averted.
Connell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
