Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thomas Bader!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader with a poor takedown
enabling Rico to counter with a crisp jab.
Rico connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bader momentarily.
Bader doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bader fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rico connects with a body shot.
Rico stalks Bader and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bader's face. Bader staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rico connects with a right hand. Bader shakes it off.
A jab from Rico finds it's way through Bader's defenses.
Rico is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Rico changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bader looks gassed!
Rico comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bader walks into a straight right hand from Rico.
Johnnie Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Rico lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bader doesn't seem phased though.
Rico cracks a nice hook into Bader's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rico's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rico duly obliges.
Bader takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rico moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice combination there by Rico.
Bader is rocked!
Bader is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Rico just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! And now a right hook, right on the button! Bader has gone limp, and this one is over!
