Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ion Golban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marionetka Pudzianowska!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowska shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Golban sprawls well. Golban wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pudzianowska gets slowly back to his feet.
Pudzianowska tries for a takedown but Golban sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pudzianowska changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Golban tries to avoid it but Pudzianowska manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Golban to the ground. Golban escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ion Golban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marionetka Pudzianowska.
Pudzianowska tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Golban counters with a nice right hand that sends Pudzianowska toppling to the canvas! Pudzianowska scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Golban finish him?!
Pudzianowska is rocked!
It looks like Marionetka Pudzianowska has been cut.
Golban swings widly with a right hand
and Pudzianowska counters with a head kick. That will keep Golban thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Pudzianowska is still on wobbly legs! Can Golban finish him?
Pudzianowska is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Golban throws a poor cross that misses
and Pudzianowska counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pudzianowska walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Pudzianowska limp body while Golban jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ion Golban!
