Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Heikki Ramires!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ramires. Bacon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jab by Ramires.
Bacon throws a right hand that misses
and Ramires counters with a left to the body.
Bacon misses with a low kick as Ramires jumps back.
Bacon throws a poor cross that misses
and Ramires counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bacon!
Bacon wants to control but Ramires is having none of it.
Ramires throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Bacon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bacon is desperately trying to improve his position but Ramires has a good base and remains in mount.
Ramires thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Ramires swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bacon is now in Ramires's guard. A big mistake from Ramires there, giving up the dominant position!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bacon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bacon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Ramires takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bacon gets in close and tags Ramires with a short punch that almost sends Ramires to the mat! Oh Ramires is in big trouble! He turns his back on Bacon, trying to create some distance but Bacon rushes him, striking wildly and Ramires goes down! The referee tackles Bacon into the cage to end the fight! Bacon is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Bacon!
