Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dominick Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Low!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cruz misses with a leg kick
and Low cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cruz looks to throw a body kick
enabling Low to counter with a crisp jab.
Cruz clinches up with Low and pushes him back against the cage.
Cruz is trying to push Low away but Low has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Low has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cruz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Cruz has picked Low up - he's going for a ride! Cruz dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Cruz is working for a kimura but Low is defending it quite comfortably.
Low throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Cruz not doing much here.

Low tries to roll over but Cruz keeps him under control.

Cruz is keen to just control but Low is a slippery customer.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cruz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Low is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
