Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ravel Kazici (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergey Kharitonov!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazici looks to clinch
and Kazici takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kazici tries for a takedown but Kharitonov circles away easily
and Kharitonov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A right-left combo lands from Kharitonov.
A cross from Kharitonov lands.
Kazici throws a sloppy head kick and Kharitonov moves out of range easily.

Kharitonov wants to control from the top but Kazici keeps moving.
Kharitonov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kazici. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kharitonov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Kharitonov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
