Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andres Fronteira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny T (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). T comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers - Born to Lose kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
T with a poor takedown
enabling Fronteira to counter with a crisp jab.
T shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than T was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fronteira on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fronteira tries to get out of the position.
T working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

T is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fronteira has managed to escape the submission attempt.
T looking to secure an arm triangle but Fronteira defends it well.

Fronteira squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
T is working for a guillotine from mount but Fronteira frees his head quite easily.

T has control of Fronteira's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fronteira regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
T stands up from mount. Strange move.
Fronteira throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. T was covering up waiting for the punch and Fronteira finishes the takedown easily into guard.
T looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Fronteira wants to stand and escape but instead T has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
T trying to control but Fronteira is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny T dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
T shoots and misses
and Fronteira counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
T wants to control but Fronteira is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fronteira looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks T with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
T trying to hold on to Fronteira's head to control him but Fronteira postures up.
T moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Fronteira got a little sloppy there for a moment and T has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fronteira has managed to get both his arms back between T's legs - danger averted.
T had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fronteira defends it easily.
Fronteira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Fronteira trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
T is breathing heavily.
T keeping moving, preventing Fronteira from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
T working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fronteira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fronteira manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

T is looking to sinch up a triangle. Fronteira throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to T's body to avoid the submission. T has instead reached around Fronteira's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! T arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Johnny T!
