Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pullo Kalevi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hurt. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darius Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pullo Kalevi! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter shoots and misses and Kalevi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Carter has his takedown stuffed and Kalevi counters with a stiff right hand. Carter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Carter keeping moving, preventing Kalevi from controlling successfully. Carter pulls Kalevi in close to prevent any damage. Carter wants to stand but Kalevi is controlling the position. Kalevi stands and throws Carter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter is trying to escape the position but Kalevi is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalevi working away. Kalevi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Carter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Carter manages to get back to half guard. Carter is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalevi thows a huge punch but Carter dodges it nicely.
Kalevi prevents Carter from improving his position. Carter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Carter is looking for a sweep. Kalevi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kalevi in particular looking to stall. Carter makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carter. Carter pulls Kalevi in close to his closed guard and prevents Kalevi from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kalevi is standing up over Carter. Carter looks to escape but Kalevi dives into side control.
Kalevi misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Carter trying to remain calm as Kalevi controls from the top position. Kalevi trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Carter throws Kalevi to one side and escapes! Kalevi scores with a takedown into Carter's guard. Kalevi won't allow Carter to get back to his feet. Carter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Carter pulls Kalevi in close to prevent any damage. Kalevi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pullo Kalevi dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Carter just misses with a punch to the body.
Carter looks to land a body kick but Kalevi moved away. Carter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Carter drops an elbow to the side of Kalevi's head. Carter stops Kalevi from getting back to his feet.
Carter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kalevi looks like he's trying to stand up.
Carter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kalevi's head. Carter throws a strike but Kalevi avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kalevi wants to stand but Carter is controlling the position. Carter scoring with some ground and pound. Carter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalevi kicks Carter off and gets to his feet. Carter misses with a takedown attempt so Kalevi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Carter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carter tries to get out of the position. Kalevi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kalevi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kalevi wants to get up but he can't break Carter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter wants to get back to his feet but Kalevi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Carter wants to sweep here but Kalevi controlling him for the moment.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Pullo Kalevi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Carter fails with the takedown and Kalevi counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kalevi slips a nice elbow through Carter's hands, connecting with Carter's forehead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Still in half guard, Kalevi seems content to control. Carter is looking for a sweep. Kalevi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Carter tries to kick Kalevi off but Kalevi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Carter could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kalevi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Pullo Kalevi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Carter doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kalevi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kalevi. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darius Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter kicks Kalevi off and gets to his feet. Carter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kalevi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carter's guard. Kalevi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kalevi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Carter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kalevi is controlling him. Carter looking for a sweep. Not yet Carter, not yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carter pushes Kalevi off and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action! A head kick misses from Carter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pullo Kalevi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pullo Kalevi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kalevi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kalevi sitting in guard, not really doing much. Carter is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalevi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Carter controls Kalevi momentarily but Kalevi frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Darius Carter wasn't doing enough on the ground. Kalevi shoots for a takedown but Carter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carter fails in his attempt to clinch. Kalevi scores a takedown into full mount! Carter is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
You get the feeling that Carter really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Carter trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Kalevi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Carter is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kalevi tries to control but Carter wriggling away. Darius Carter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kalevi throws some wild stikes that Carter manages to avoid easily.
Pullo Kalevi has got the better of the ground game so far. Carter tries to reverse the position but Kalevi maintains control. Kalevi content just to control the position here. Kalevi tries to control but Carter wriggling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Pullo Kalevi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kalevi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
