5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Omielanczuk! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McFillin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Omielanczuk is fending him off so far but McFillin persists. Nope, Omielanczuk circles away and we're back to standing. Omielanczuk connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McFillin momentarily.
McFillin shoots in for a double leg but Omielanczuk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Omielanczuk lands a glancing blow to the side of McFillin's head. McFillin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Omielanczuk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McFillin is in Omielanczuk's guard. McFillin wants to control from the top but Omielanczuk keeps moving. Omielanczuk looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Omielanczuk throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
McFillin passes easily into side control. Nice work. McFillin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
McFillin swings around for an armbar but Omielanczuk sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McFillin's guard. McFillin is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Omielanczuk rolls with it to try and escape but McFillin cranks on the arm and Omielanczuk is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
