Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Gers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gers comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - The Trooper. White is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The White Stripes - Ball and Biscuit. Jack White told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Gers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack White!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gers swings widly with a right hand
and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
White stuns Gers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gers misses with a body shot.
White goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Dave Gers has been cut.
White misses with the combination.
White throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gers looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range.
Gers misses with a right hand
and White counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
White with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Nice defenses there by Gers.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts White, as that shot connected.

and White counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gers thinking.
White throws a hook but Gers blocks it.
Gers swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling White to counter with a crisp jab.
Gers is breathing heavily.

White lands a nice hook to Gers's body. Gers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
White dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jack White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gers closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
White throws a shot to the body.
Gers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gers doesn't seem bothered though.
Gers walks into a jab.
White scores with a nice right hand.
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
White lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Gers sprawling to the canvas. White follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Gers hang on?
Gers is rocked!
White controlling the pace.

White stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
White pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gers looks to land a right hand but White moved out of range.
White connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gers misses with a right hand
and White counters with a nice body shot.
White is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gers had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
White misses with a double jab.
White works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
White looks to land a combination but Gers avoids it well.

Gers misses with a hook
and White counters with a lovely shot to the body.
White digs a good body shot into Gers's ribs.
White misses with the combination.
White cracks Gers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from White. Gers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gers misses with a lunging right hand
and White counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nice cross by White.
Gers misses with an uppercut
and White counters with a stiff right hand.
White moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gers dodges the punch combination from White.
White lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Gers throws an off balance right hand
and White counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
White scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

White fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gers looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Gers throws an ugly left hook that misses
and White counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White misses with a series of wild punches.
Gers tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack White dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dave Gers's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
White showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gers.
The crowd cheers as White lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gers doesn't seem phased though.
White throws a hook but Gers blocks it.
White connects with a body shot.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gers connects with a body shot that sends White's belly button to the back.
Gers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
White misses the shot to the body.
Gers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gers throws a looping overhand right but White ducks down to avoid it.
Gers looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
White is breathing heavily.
White walks into a jab.
It looks like Jack White has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gers.

Gers throws a shot from downtown. White moves away and avoids it.

Gers tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gers wobbles White with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Gers dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts White to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
