PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sun Tzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamikaze Sazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamikaze Sazuki!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tzu works over Sazuki's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Kamikaze Sazuki has been cut.
A shot to the body from Sazuki misses
and Tzu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tzu scores with a nice strike.
Sazuki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tzu has time to react.
Decent striking displayed by Tzu there.
Tzu misses with a hook. Sazuki ducked under it nicely.
Sazuki moves out of range of the leg kick from Tzu.
Sazuki has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sazuki there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A jab-cross combination lands for Tzu and sends Sazuki crashing to the mat! Tzu follows him down to the mat - Sazuki regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Sazuki is rocked!
Sazuki wants to get back to full guard.
Sazuki is still in real trouble! Can Tzu finish him?
Tzu wants to pass to mount but Sazuki is defending the position.
Sazuki is looking to control Tzu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sazuki avoid being mounted?
Sazuki seems to have recovered his senses.

Tzu seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sazuki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
