Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amistair Cees Obereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amistair Cees Obereem will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amistair Cees Obereem! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Obereem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Obereem tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch. Lee works on Obereem's body with a couple of short punches. Lee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Obereem is wriggling around but Lee manages to pass to half guard.
Lee not doing much here.
Obereem avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lee. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Obereem tries to kick Lee off but Lee keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lee works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Obereem is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lee lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lee is working for a guillotine from mount but Obereem frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Lee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lee lands a big elbow. Lee lands with some strikes. Lee controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Obereem looks a forlorn figure.
Lee working for a guillotine from mount but Obereem is in no mood to give up. Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lee stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Lee pushes Obereem up against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Lee - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Obereem tries to circle away but Lee has him pinned against the cage. Obereem is pressed up against the cage. Lee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Obereem down to the mat. Obereem avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Obereem stuns Lee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lee is breathing heavily. A head kick by Lee misses and Obereem counters with a low kick, right behind Lee 's knee. Obereem moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off. Obereem tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Obereem scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Obereem tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Obereem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee tries to clinch up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Lee dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee. Obereem is looking to clinch. Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Obereem as he jumps to the side. Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Obereem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Obereem manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee circles away from the clinch attempt and Lee counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Obereem keeps the fight on the outside. Obereem tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lee dodges the punch combination from Obereem.
Obereem tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range. Obereem throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely. Lee throws a leg kick that is checked and Obereem holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Obereem is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Obereem wants to break free but Lee has control.
Lee has had enough of the clinch but Obereem keeps him there for the moment. Obereem utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Obereem tries to stall but Lee uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Obereem throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lee blocks it with crossed arms. Obereem misses with a knee to the head. Obereem is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now. Obereem is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lee is keeping busy. Obereem with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Obereem manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Obereem looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Obereem is looking to clinch but Lee is avoiding it.
Obereem misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Obereem scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Obereem tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Obereem tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Obereem tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it. Obereem closes the distance looking to clinch and Lee counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Lee wants to clinch up but Obereem keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Obereem is not content to let Lee control the position. The strikes coming from Lee are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lee throwing shots but missing, from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Obereem is trying to get back to his feet. Lee misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amistair Cees Obereem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Obereem tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lee fails in his attempt to clinch. Lee clinches with his opponent.
Obereem putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Lee in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Lee has Obereem pressed against the cage, preventing Obereem from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Lee pushes Obereem back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Obereem wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Obereem tries to break the clinch but Lee is controlling the position. Obereem looking to throw knees to the head but Lee is blocking nicely.
Lee ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lee no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Obereem won't allow Lee to sweep him here. Obereem being controlled here momentarily. Lee working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Obereem gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Obereem wants to stand but Lee is controlling his posture from full guard. Lee striking off his back but it's not causing Obereem any problems. Lee wants to sweep here but Obereem controlling him for the moment. Obereem has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lee is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Obereem wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obereem can't keep his opponent in guard - Lee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lee decides to stand and escape the position. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Obereem's waist but Obereem gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Obereem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Obereem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Obereem swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Obereem looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Obereem slaps away a takedown attempt from Lee, before circling back to the center of the mat. Obereem moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Obereem misses with a knee to the head.
